Are electric cars bad for the environment?

Unlike traditional cars or trucks, EVs do not produce any tailpipe emissions. Even when you consider that some emissions are created using electric power generation, EVs produce far fewer total emissions than typical cars and trucks. Additionally, the lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles can be recycled for the minerals inside to make new EV batteries, further minimizing environmental impact.
